As a new employee of Benesch, you are eligible for benefits if you are full-time or part-time and working at least 24 hours per week.
Interns and On Call Employees are not eligible for Benesch Benefits. All benefits except 401(k) will be effective on your 30th day of employment. 401(k) will be effective the 1st of the month following 30 days of hire. You will not be able to enroll in 401(k) until 30 days prior to your effective date.
Following your benefits orientation, please review the below materials to assist you in the decision-making process.
Remember your new hire benefit enrollment window is only open for 30 days. Be sure to make your elections sooner rather than later.
Even if you are not enrolling in any insurance through Benesch, you still need to complete new hire enrollment in ADP to waive medical coverage and to select company-paid life, LTD and add beneficiary* information for life and 401(k).
*A beneficiary can be a person or a legal entity that is designated by you to receive a benefit, such as life insurance or 401(k). A dependent can also be named as a beneficiary. A dependent is a person who is eligible to be covered by you under your medical plans.
Please note, the 401(k) section, in ADP, during New Hire enrollment is solely to store your beneficiary information because Voya does not store this. You will make your actual 401(k) deferrals on the Voya site when you enroll atenroll.voya.com.
Employees are eligible to participate in Benesch Wellness Program through Vitality even if you do not enroll in one of Benesch’s medical plans.
